Journal websites often need to provide file downloads externally, such as:

  • Submission manuscript templates
  • Copyright statements file
  • Journal brochure

Operation Guide

Implement the file download function through the following steps:

  1. Upload files to be shared in the backend

  2. Click the "Link" button after the file name and copy the file link

  3. Paste the link to the page location where you want to add the download

Main Functions

  • Folder management: Establish a clear file organization structure

  • Batch/single file uploads: Easily upload multiple or individual files

  • Access control: Flexibly set files to open or close external access

Permission Description

  • Super Admin: View all files

  • Journal Publisher: Manage journal files

Turn On/Off Public Access

Click the "Public" button in the file list to turn on or off external access. When turned off, only authorized users can download the files.

Delete Empty Folders

After ensuring there are no files in the folder, enter the folder and click the delete button.
